We designed and built this mantel a few years ago, we didn't like the one that was installed so we built this.....

We do a lot of camping, and we like cooking over wood. Since firerings at campgrounds come in a variety of sizes, I built this out of bed frame rails so that it can accomodate two grills on large rings, and collapses easily for stowage. We will be marketing a revised version of this starting in the spring.

We also do furniture refinishing.

Joanie will be making quilts as time permits.... check back for progress on those.

Back to metalwork...... I had this round bale mover that hasn't been used for a couple of years, since we only feed small squares now. And I needed a three-point trailer mover for moving trailers around the place using the tractor rather then the truck. I could have bought a new one for $180. What I did was this, removed the bale spear, turned it around, and welded a ball mount receiver to the bale mover, which now can serve two purposes by simply turning it back around and bolting the spear back on. Cost? Had everything laying around here.

Great gift idea..... bring in your old saw, or saw blade, and have it personalized. I will cut a name or message into in with my free-hand plasma cutter. Prices: Up to eight letters $50, additional letters @ $5 each. Will clearcoat the blade for an additional $10.

Simple concept, and not my original idea, seen these on the internet, but I made the one above for my sister, and the one below, which is painted in high-heat paint, to display at the store. I plan on making more, for those who provide their own wheel rims I will build for $40, unpainted. If I provide the rims, price depends on what the rims cost to acquire. Painting is $10. They work real well and will last practically forever.
